Welcome to Pink Polka Dot’s Empowerment Challenge “Breaking through old fashion stereotypes” The Pink Polka Dot Empowerment Challenge consists of 10 weeks in which participants will focus on eliminating negative esteem and uplifting themselves with positive self esteem.
These modules are designed to engage the girls in positive individual perception. The Empowerment Challenge is an exploratory program that includes how to deal with negative images from peers, family and mass media.
Often young girl’s perception is distorted by negative images from television and movies, it is hard for them to decipher what is fantasy and it often plays negatively on their self esteem.
The Empowerment Challenge will push them to think differently, to focus more on their self worth and what they can bring to the world through positive thoughts, images and actions.

“Watch Us Shine Career Challenge 78 Careers From “The chemical element Platinum has an atomic number of seventy-eight” The Pink Polka Dot Career Challenge consists of 78 specific profiles of vast careers. Each career is simulated through advance modules to introduce, teach and guide the girls on each profession.
A – Z”
The girls will focus on what each position is by traveling through a detailed history of that career. After the history lesson is understood the girls will practice each career by enacting each profession. For example the first profession profiled is The Career Challenge Accountant; each girl will maintain a mock business, account for its expenses as well as keep up with inventory.
Following the history and practice modules the girls will learn what it takes to become this particular profession such as college paths, skills and personality traits. These modules are designed to engage the girls in setting career goals for themselves.
